Dwyer takes on Liverpool revival

Article Abstract:

Liverpool Vision Head Joe Dwyer sees his role as encouraging investors to appreciate the investment opportunities in Liverpool, England. Liverpool Vision is a private-public organisation which is leading urban renewal in Liverpool. Dwyer wants to develop a plan for the whole city which is agreed by everyone, in order the construction industry understands what is wanted by the community and the authorities. He suggests Liverpool still suffers from bad publicity from the 1980s. Dwyer was formally the chairman of the housing development company Wimpey.
