Omnicom's media blitz touts Simplexity service

Article Abstract:

A multimillion dollar marketing promotion for Simplexity.com has been launched by RappDigital, Rapp Collins-Dallas and The Focus Agency. Simplexity is a new online service specializing in comparison-priced telephone service offerings to consumers and small businesses. The marketing campaign was a coordinated effort by the advertising agencies which included full-page ads in major newspapers and online marketing promotions at ZDTV and Yahoo Internet Life.

MapInfo debuts online demographic service

Article Abstract:

MapInfo Corp, based in Troy, NY, will provide online demographic reports and si te maps to realtors and marketers through its online research service called ReportZone.com. An e-mail marketing campaign will target commercial real estate brokers. The campaign is expected to include direct response cards to boost prospects and lure visitors from trade shows to access the Web site.

E-Stamp wins patents, Microsoft marketing deal

Article Abstract:

E-Stamp Corp of San Mateo, CA, has received approval from the US Patent Trademark Office to use proprietary technology that is aimed at making Internet postage more reliable and secure. The company, which received the patent approval on Dec 8, 1999, is the first to be given peremission for the commercial sale of Internet postage. E-Stamp, capitalizing on the new patents, has also announced a marketing campaign in cooperation with Microsoft Corp of Redmond, WA.
