Encouragingly clever

Article Abstract:

The UK Environment Minister for local government John Redwood, clearly supports the construction industry. He believes that to stimulate growth within the construction industry low inflation and low interest rates are needed. Redwood believes that construction demand can be increased without raising tender prices and he wants to improve the balance between capital and revenue expenditure. Redwood is willing to sell the Property Services Agency at a government loss and may not encourage compulsory competitive tendering legislation.
