Investors put $3 million in MayDream

Article Abstract:

New-media company MayDream of Paris, France, has announced that it obtained a $3-million first-round investment from venture capital firm 3-i USA of Palo Alto, CA. MayDream owns and operates Adforum.com, an online directoy of advertising agencies which recently partnered with online marketing directory Multicultural Target Source. Adforum.com claims that it has 8,000 advertising and marketing services in more than 100 countries.

Fry gets undisclosed capital boost; IPO hinted

Article Abstract:

Summit Partners, a Boston, MA-based venture capital investment company, will invest at least $10-million into Fry Multimedia Inc, an Ann Arbor, MI-based privately held direct marketing and Internet services firm. The investment is substantial enough to allow Summit Partners secure a position on Fry Multimedia's executive board. Other popular holdings of Summit Partners include Stamford, CT-based Hyperion Software and Santa Clara, CA-based Network Associates.
