Giving 'lookers' a reason to buy now

Article Abstract:

The art of selling prefabricated houses requires giving potential customers a reason to buy now (RTBN). The RTBN is a reason that can compel store visitors to make a purchase immediately. Before the customers come into the store, sellers should identify a set of RTBN, then select one RTBN that will suit the needs of the prospect. To be effective, an RTBN should be exciting, believable, and applicable only on the day of the visit and not later. Making a product harder to acquire for prospects is also effective.

Sales training is a process, not an event

Article Abstract:

The three key ingredients for successful selling include integrity, desire and commitment. Effective sales training programs developed by outside consultants should focus on the 'process' of the training. Programs should be industry-focused, should involve goal-setting, should contain a systematic approach to selling and should provide for the accountability of daily sales activities.
