Go buy the board

Article Abstract:

The sale of medium density fibreboard (MDF) has increased by 15% annually in the UK. It is more popular than timber and other products, such as plywood. In 1992 sales are estimated to be 350,000 cubic metres. UK leaders Caberboard in Cowie, Stirling will be launching an exterior board for commercial purchase in about 1995. Caberboard believes that exterior MDF is superior to plywood. Moulding manufacturer Fibercill in the West Midlands is expanding in the production of MDF architraves and skirting boards. It has 300 stockists nationwide.
