Higher fuel prices aren't bother boaters ... yet

Article Abstract:

Boating industry leaders and retailers generally agree that consumers are still not changing their boating habits despite the rising prices of fuel. Boating is an activity which people do not do everyday and does not significally affect their discretionary income. An industry official declared that fuel is one of the smallest expenses in boating. Attitudes of boating enthusiasts, however, could change if fuel prices keep rising.

RBFF asks manufacturers for fishing pro help

A new program began by the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation to increase fishing and boating participation is presented. The program said to compliment RBFF's national Take Me Fishing advertising campaign.

Tracking a little-known hazard in marina waters

Article Abstract:

Ways to prevent electric shock drowning incidents at the marinas is discussed. The need to educate boatbuilders and marina owners on the safety of boating is detailed.
