Manufacturing assets gone, Revenge tries e-commerce

Article Abstract:

Revenge Marine Inc is moving into another business venture with the planned acquisition of e-commerce Web site ReelFishing Corp of Boca Raton, FL, for $3.9 million in stock. The move follows the divestiture of the boatbuilder's manufacturing assets in Aug 1999, an effort aimed at relieving the company's mounting indebtedness. Revenge Marine's change from a manufacturing to a marketing company was forced by a combination of lack of capitalization and pressure from creditors.
