Improving your site conversion ratio

Article Abstract:

There are eight simple ways of increasing the site conversion ratio (SCR) of Web sites. The SCR is the most important statistical measure of any electronic commerce initiative. For instance, SCR can be improved by decreasing download time. This can be done by reducing the file sizes of the site's images, using the proper HTML code and compatible browsers. Making the site obvious, eliminating clicks, putting emphasis on security, efficient search tools, site navigability, cookies and a consistent theme also improve the SCR.

E-tailers keep missing fulfillment issues

Article Abstract:

Online retailers must translate their huge success in increasing their sales by shipping goods on time to their customers. Online firms that incorrectly ship orders or ship orders which are late are at risk of losing customers. Marketers must remember that customer satisfaction can be assured by providing efficient, high-quality service and operations. Retailers are also cautioned on the services provided by low-budget call- centers and fulfillment centers. Their lower price is not an assurance of efficiency.

A fair solution to Web privacy issues

Article Abstract:

One of the solutions that businesses can adopt in solving the problem of maintaining online consumer privacy is through anonymous demographic and behavioral profiles with cookie IDs. Businesses should also disclose the purpose of the cookie on Web site where cookie transactions take place. Consumers should also have open access to their online information while corporate privacy policies should be a legal and binding contract with clients.
