L.L. Bean looks to draw more sales from Web searches

Article Abstract:

L.L. Bean Inc in May 2001 signed an agreement with Inceptor, an online solutions company based in Maynard, MA, to raise the number of sales generated from searches. According to Shawn Gorman, marketing manager of e-commerce at L.L. Bean, one the fields that is untapped for the Freeport, ME-based company is search engine ranking and getting relevant searches on search engine. Under the agreement, L.L. Bean will use Inceptor's Excedia software to feed search engines with keywords relating to its products and content.

Enews, IBelieve partner to promote Christian magazines online

Article Abstract:

IBelieve.com has enered into a partnership agreement with enews.com that is geared towards providing the religious market a virtual newstand of Christian magazines. Online magazine subscription provider Enews has implemented and will host an Interenet-based Magazine Rack on iBelieve's Web site. The Magazine Rack is planning on featuring 900 mostly Christian- focused print publications. IBelieve will offer discounted mail subscriptions on the publications to its registered base of 540,000 members.

Sprint PCS, Juno sign deal on wireless Web

Article Abstract:

Sprint PCS and Juno Online Services have entered into a one-year deal to feature Juno's new mobile service on Sprint PCS' wireless Web. The agreement will provide Sprint PCS customers with access to the Internet via Juno from a Sprint PCS Internet-ready mobile phone. Sprint will feature the mobile service, called Juno Mobile, under its Messaging folder. It will also be featured along with the other ISPs on Sprint PCS' What's New? page.
