MAATS 2004: a bigger international presence: targeted promotional effort succeeds in drawing more exhibitors and buyers from abroad

Article Abstract:

The Marine Aftermarket Accessories Trade Show, which is produced by Chicago-based National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), will be held in Las Vegas in July 2004 and will have international exhibitors and buyers and offer new opportunities for catering to the global attendees. The floor space has already been sold out but opportunities are still available for companies who want to present their new products.

Economy, weather, promos swell N.Y. turnout

Article Abstract:

The annual New York boat show did better than expected thanks to some bright weather, an improving economy and a well planned promotion of the new dates, which clash with the holiday season. The attendance was better than last year, and sales also showed a marked improvement.
