Major N.C. dealer opens big Durham showroom

Article Abstract:

North Carolina-based Boats Unlimited is moving into a new 40,000-sq-ft showroom and service center in teh Raleigh-Durham area in Mar 2001. The dealership aims to dislay more than 100 boats in the larger showroom. The new facility also has eight service bays. The company's owner, John Pope, is generally optimistic for 2001, despite signs of a general economic slowdown. His primary market range is 40 to 50 miles around the dealerships.

Bloomfield was previously the vice president in the Global Marketing Group at MasterCard International where she was responsible for all MasterCard Web sites internationally and all electronic marketing outside North America. prior to joining MasterCard, Bloomfield was a vice president at NatWest Bank.

Taylor made doubles space with addition

Article Abstract:

Gloversville, NY-based Taylor Made Products has formally opened a new 56,000-sq-ft facility that doubles its space and consolidates all manufacturing under one roof. The addition is enabling Taylor Made products to continue its growth in the plastics processing, sewn and light manufacturing areas. The space was intended to accommodate the special needs of a rotational molding operation that had been offsite.
