PetFoodDirect.com credits its use of conventional direct marketing techniques for a 12% increase in orders via its Web site in Apr 2000. The pet supplies retailer, which hired the services of Roska Direct for the direct marketing campaign, credits the strategy for the influx of 284,000 unique visitors to the company's Web site in May 2000. That number of visitors, published by PC Data Online, ranked PetFoodDirect at No. 4 among all pet supply retailers in the US.

New e-mail system latest step in Christianbook's site revamp

Article Abstract:

Christianbook.com will unveil a new e-mail system as part of a multiphase marketing plan. The company is the online division of Christian Book Distributors, which sells religious books, paintings and other items. The e-mail system would integrate a program called Excedia from Inceptor, which would allow Christianbook to feed numerous product names to search engines. Christianbook expects the e-mail upgrade will allow it to integrate its back-end systems with its marketing efforts.
