A handy tool to have

Article Abstract:

Precision Shapes of Virginia Inc, based in Chesapeake, VA, has found out that the infrared measuring device developed by Sterling, VA-based Arc Second can be used for purposes other than for checking tolerances of the tooling and molds that Precision Shapes makes for boatbuilders. The $30,000 device can be used by boatbuilders to improvise hull designs and by boatyard operators to make quick measurements of boat parts that need extensive repairs or renovations.
