Our flexible friends in the north

Article Abstract:

South Close Developments has allowed for a very high level of purchaser customization at its development of 20 houses near Hexham, England. Purchasers are able to choose the size and number of bedrooms, for example, and can select from a range of solid wood finishes for the kitchen fittings. It was necessary to have a flexible approach to budgeting, but the development remains on budget. A similar level of customization is being offered by Rivergreen Developments on a brownfield site in Sunderland, England. Here, features include hand-painted kitchens and maple veneer doors.

Service requirements

Article Abstract:

Construction professionals should deliver good value and a high standard of workmanship to maintain a good reputation within the industry. Contractors are more likely to be seen as providing a good service if they maintain close contact with their client. They must have a good appreciation of the trade and focus on well defined management goals. Other key areas for consideration are discussed.
