Parkyn's progress

Article Abstract:

Leeds, the capital of West Yorkshire, UK is being cleaned up in preparation for its participation in the contest for the next Olympic Games city. It is the only part of the UK where extensive building projects are continuing in the aftermath of a 3-year long recession. The main look for Leeds is the blend of hard and bright red brick with dark windows. Roofscapes consist of mill towers and chimneys. Victorian Leeds, the hub of the UK's industrial revolution still remains predominant. Buildings have been carefully restored to their former glory.
