Record breaking Robbins chews through Little Calumet Leg limestone

Article Abstract:

The contract with Jay Dee/Affholder joint venture for the Little Calumet Leg tunnel construction is investigated. Affholder uses the factory refurbished Robbins TBM for driving through the hard rock tunnel. The TBM has shown a record weekly advance of 474.7m.
