E-mail marketing appears on its way to becoming the most popular form of direct marketing in the new millennium. While many direct marketers are still reluctant to use e-mail for fear of consumer backlash, the emergence of a set of guidelines will gradually ease out those anxieties. The growing e-mail market will also become reason enough for marketers to try and tap its huge potential.
