NEBS, NetLedger in marketing alliance

Direct marketing firm New England Business Services Inc (NEBS) of Groton, MA, has formed a marketing partnership with online software developer NetLedger of Menlo Park, CA. NEBS markets customized checks, forms and other office products to small businesss whike NetLedger sells an online accounting software that allows small businesses to store and access their accounting data in a Web environment.

CMGI eyes cross-marketing of Net properties

Article Abstract:

CMGI Inc and Compaq Computer Corp would spend $50 million each for the cross-promotion of their Internet properties and services and would jointly design new online services. The move has been agreed by the two firms in light of the pending purchase of Alta Vista by CMGI from Compaq Computer for preferred and common stock worth $2.3 billion. The transaction will enable Compaq Computer to hold a 16.4% interest in CMGI.

PlanetRx-Express Scripts alliance key to healthy IPO

Article Abstract:

PlanetRx.com, a San Francisco, CA-based online pharmacy, has agreed to become the Internet arm of Express Scripts Inc, a pharmacy benefit manager based in St Louis, MO. The deal makes PlanetRx.com the exclusive online pharmacy for the 36 million Americans whose precription drug insurance is part of the Express Scripts network. In return, Express Scripts will take a 19.9% equity stake in PlanetRx.com.
