Scoring grid helps screen prospective renters

Article Abstract:

The manufactured home community management business should follow the apartment sector's practice of screening prospective lessees. Proper screening can help avoid problems such as rule violations, property damage, resident disturbances and non-payment of rent. It is suggested that prospective lessees be given a questionnaire which is designed to obtain information on employment, income, credit and past residency.
