What the industry thinks

Article Abstract:

There has generally been a positive response from the UK construction industry to the report from the Urban Task Force. It is felt that this report, although it possibly contains too many recommendations, offers a framework for improving urban environments. However, some observers have also expressed reservations about the report. These include the danger of making the planning process even more protracted and the failure to recognize people's needs and aspirations.
