Sports retailer runs with special issue to tout Nike agreement

Article Abstract:

Finish Line, an Indianapolis, IN-based sporting goods retail chain, has signed an agreement with Nike to be an exclusive retailer of a number of Nike running shoes, apparel and equipment. Finish Line will try to generate awareness of its alliance with Nike through a direct mail campaign in Feb 2000. The campaign will drop 800,000 copies of Spike, an inhouse quarterly magazine, that will feature long-distance runner Steve Prefontaine.

Firms to forge data warehousing solution

Westborough, MA-based Ascential Software Inc, an information asset management solutions provider, has formed a strategic partnership with analytic CRM solutions vendor Torrent Systems Inc. The partnership agreement is aimed at creating a data warehousing solution. The solution will enable the companies to integrate, transform and share corporate data for business intelligence, CRM and e-commerce applications.

Xchange, Carreker partner on services for banking industry

Xchange Inc, a customer relationship management (CRM) vendor, and Carreker Corp, a provider of e-finance-enabling solutions for the fiancial industrial, have formed an partnership that makes Carreker the exclusive provider of Xchange EnAct, a CRM product that helps employees increase customer value, to the banking industry. The two companies also have entered into a marketing agreement for Xchange 7 that will allow them to focus their resources on customers who represent the highest potential value.
