Staples offers new small-biz services

Article Abstract:

Staples.com in May 2001 opened three online service centers designed to help small businesses with their printing, marketing and overall Web operations. The office supplies retailer's online unit will provide free content and advice at the centers as well as offer outsourcing services. Visitors to Staples.com can access the solution centers by entering the Business Services section on the site. According to Staples.com spokeswoman Debby Hohler, the Framingham, MA-based company will promote the centers through its monthly e-mail newsletter.

iHello.com lets marketers talk via Web

iHello.com of Mountain View, CA, implements voice capabilities onto companies' electronic mail marketing, banner ads and overall Web communications. It sells the Voice Marketing and Voice Enable product lines, the former allowing companies to add a voice-enabled URL to opt-in e-mail campaigns. The Voice Enable permits companies to improve their Web sites by the addition of voice functionality to various Web communications.
