Taylor Made opens facility in Britain

Article Abstract:

Taylor Made Environmental has opened a new complex in Poole, England, UK, to provide sales and technical support in Europe for the firm's marine air conditioning, refrigeration and battery charger product lines. According to Taylor Made Environmental Europe Managing Dir Trevor Goldsmith, the new facility has a 5,000-sq-ft warehouse and 2,000 sq ft of office space. It will be staffed by 16 workers and will stock over $1.7 million in inventory, Goldsmith said.

Sea-Fire opening new British plant

Article Abstract:

Sea-Fire Marine has opened a new UK facility for the production of its environment-friendly FM-200 fire extinguishers. The manufacturing plant, located on Haling Island, started operations in Mar 2001. The new facility will allow Sea-Fire to serve European boatbuilders better through prompt service and fast turnaround on orders. Ernie Ellis, Sea-Fire managing director, said the facility will instill greater confidence among European boatbuilders.
