Taylor's new furnace produces efficiencies

Article Abstract:

Taylor Made Glass has installed a new furnace for use in the production of shaped windshields. The furnace allows glass to be bent horizontally without leaving any tong marks and distortions, as well as enabling the company to build larger shaped windshields. Taylor Made said the new furnace will provide new manufacturing efficiencies by offering quick product changeovers and improved product tolerances. The glass will be used in producing bent and tempered windshields to be sold by Taylor Made Systems.
