Polk tunes up Toyota campaign

Article Abstract:

Toyota Motor Sales USA has awarded a marketing campaign contract to RL Polk of Southfield, MI, and its partner, Direct Mail Express of Daytona Beach, FL. RL Polk will create a campaign involving direct mail and prerecorded phone messages. Direct Mail Express will create customized marketing for the automaker's dealers to promote sales of automotive parts and services. The campaign will start in Jan 2000.

Telemarketer banned, clients pay $500,000 for DNC violation

Article Abstract:

Las Vagas based Braglia Marketing group has been fined $3,500 and banned from owning more than a 5 percent stake in a company engaging in telemarketing. Its two clients, Atlantic Place Development and Flagship Resort Development have agreed to pay an aggregate amount $500,000 to the Federal Trade Commission for settling allegations of violation of the national no-call list.
