The site, www.boattalk.com, is touted as the Consumer Reports for boating. However, Boating Information's Web site will accept advertising and will permit boat manufacturers to answer individuals who post unfavorable reviews regarding their products.

Consenco regroups rather than sell finance division

Article Abstract:

Consenco Inc has decided not to sell Consenco Finance, and has instead opted to restructure the struggling finance unit. The restructuring plan includes the elimination of five business lines, including asset-based lending, vendor finance, bank cards, transportation and park construction. The company will also reduce cost by as much as $155 million a year and lay off some 2,000 employees.
