Article Abstract:

After going round a full circle of ups and downs, marketers are back to online advertising, realizing the importance of Internet marketing as one more medium to reach consumers and not as an alternative to direct mail. The electronic media is being used extensively to acquire and renew subscribers with the help of search engines, through keywords and e-mail. With improvement in online advertising, which allows a user to stay on a page while interacting with an ad, to elicit a trial subscription has become easier.
