Ventnor is moving to Tennessee plant

Article Abstract:

Ventnor Boat Works is building an assembly plant 60 miles from its corporate offices in Harrison, TN. Ventnor had maintained its assembly plant in the Holland, MI, area to take advantage of the availability of its skilled craftsmen. The firm's president, Dick Thede, said he decided on the transfer because the new location also has a skilled boatbuilding work force. The new plant also has a more moderate temperature and a central location from which to transport their products.
