We need to watch our language

Article Abstract:

Manufactured home retailers have to ensure that they use the correct terms to describe their product when marketing it to the public. They need to educate their consumers so that the latter can appreciate manufactured homes as permanent structures which are structurally safe and financially affordable. The current upward performance of the manufactured homes industry should inspire retailers to continue that trend by adopting a positive attitude towards the industry and its proper terminologies to erase consumers' misconceptions about its products.

A very good point

Article Abstract:

Manufactured housing dealers can do much to ensure customer satisfaction and avoid inconveniences by conducting professional walk thrus with potential buyers before the actual sale. Salespeople must take time to inform their customers of the characteristics of the house they are selling, warranties, and possible service requirements. The walk thru is a good impression they impart to customers and it saves time in determining which parts of the house are in proper order before the sale.
