Youtopia.com lands Britney Spears

Youtopia.com has taken popular singer Britney Spears as its first spokeswoman. The New York-based company, which intends to attract visitors to its Web site by offering teenagers live online chats with their favorite stars, predicts that it will have a membership of 1 million. Spears is expected to provide content advice for the Web site that will be launched in late Jun 2000. Youtopia is offering loyalty credits and other giveaways for individuals who will join its e-mail list.

ImageX offering IKON system

Kirkland, WA-based ImageX is offering IKON Office Solutions Inc's newly launched Digital Express 2000, a Web-based print management system. The solution will be available to ImageX.com users at the online print procurement firm's channel for branded office stationery and business cards. Malvern, PA-based IKON, will take care of documents, technical and training documentation, software manuals and directories derived from the business it gets through www.imagex.com.
