There have been a number of developments in computer mouse technology. The Wacom Graphire is a cordless mouse and computer pen set with a special mat featuring a built-in sensor. The Microsoft Intellimouse with IntelliEye is able to detect movement by scanning the desktop 1,500 times a second, while the Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro is a battery-powered cordless keyboard and mouse. The Logitech Marble Mouse has a trackball on top which is rotated instead of the mouse being moved.
