Is your car covered

Article Abstract:

All new cars are delivered with a standard guarantee that the maker will repair free of charge any faults with the car depending on proper use and servicing. Extended guarantees should not be confused with mechanical breakdown insurance (MBI) policies which cost extra but apply to specific problems and faults, but also often include breakdown insurance. Considerations to look out is what exactly is covered by an MBI and if the premiums are good value when compared to the cost of any claims.

How to sell your car

Article Abstract:

Cars can be sold in four different ways: privately, to a dealer, at an auction, or as a part-exchange. Potential sellers are advised to check that all repayments on a conditional sale or hire purchase scheme are completed to ensure that they are the rightful owner. Cars must be in roadworthy condition, unless they are to be sold for scrap or parts; and the advertisement should not mislead the potential buyer.
