Dirt busters: a bit of the usual and a few surprises - that's what we found in our latest vacuum cleaner test

Article Abstract:

The Hoover U1432 vacuum cleaner rated highest in a test to measure dirt removal from a carpet. Priced at $199, it adjusts well to different carpet heights and provides various tools with on-board storage. Its drawbacks includes its motor noise and the lack of a dustbag-full indicator. Its cord, also, cannot be retracted.
