Robust strategies for abating climate change

Article Abstract:

Exploratory modeling is presented as a superior method to prediction-based policy analysis in computing conditions of deep uncertainty. This approach uses multiple computer cycles and larger memory allows researchers to perform computations for a variety of subjective probabilities and loss functions.

Modeling climate change in the absence of climate change data

Article Abstract:

The problem of using general circulation models (GCMs) to model climate change is discussed. There are many such models, each one containing different assumptions and parameter requirements.
