Favorable labor market participation trends in the Netherlands mean that less effort is needed to tackle the fiscal impact of ageing. There is still a need for rapid action, and there are uncertainties, so risks involved.

Subsidizing R&D cooperatives

An analysis shows that it is more economical to subsidize research and development cooperatives than to rely on private investment to sustain the cooperatives.
