Comparative advantage and the location of inward foreign direct investment: evidence from the UK and South Korea

Article Abstract:

Foreign direct investment exhibits a functional relationship with a particular location's comparative advantage. Application of the factor proportions hypothesis to the UK and South Korea showed substantial positive correlation between the two factors. The relationship is strongly exhibited in the UK's services sector, while South Korea presented an unclear delineation between services and non-services industries.

It's a very interesting topic. I wonder whether the 'location' refers to different countries or different regions in the same country.
