New agency law
Article Abstract:
Bahrain has passed a new Commercial Agency Law which will become effective Nov 1, 1992 and updates a statute dating from 1975. The law covers issues regarding contractual exclusivity, registration and qualifications of agents, arbitration of disputes, importation regulations for third parties, termination of contract and compensation.

The hard way: a contender makes his point, with some help

Bob Dole's ghost writer Mark Helprin inserted the term 'hard way' several times in the farewell to the senate speech. The term comes from a strategy in the game of dice. Gazillion, a term used recently by Pres Bill Clinton, was an expansion of the term zillion, first used in 1980.
