A good trade

Article Abstract:

The construction industry provides good job opportunities for non-traditional workers due to the increasing demand for skilled workers. The number of skilled workers has decreased due to a decrease in the population of younger men. Those in the construction industry emphasize the need for vocational education to prepare workers for the trade. The Occupational Handbook predicts fast growth for glaziers, painters, sheetmetal workers, and insulation workers. It also predicts growth for bricklayers and stonemasons, carpenters, electricians, plumber and welders.

Technical support

Article Abstract:

There is an increase in the demand for high-skilled and specialized technicians, who constitute an integral part of America's labor force. However, there is a shortage of workers as students are constantly guided away from careers as technicians. The increase in job opportunities will not provide jobs to all technicians due to the constant changes in technology, and fluctuations in demand. The Occupational Outlook Handbook profiles specialties that generate many jobs.
