A 3-parameter critical power model

Article Abstract:

A 3-parameter critical power (CP) model provides estimates of the anaerobic work capacity (AWC), CP, and maximal instantaneous power which characterize work performance. The model is a modification of the critical power (CP) model that provides estimates of AWH and CP. The CP model underestimates CP and overestimates AWC. The addition of maximal instantaneous power as a parameter removes the biases in the measurements of CP and AWC. The maximal instantaneous power at any instant is proportional to the amount of AWC left at that instant. This indicates that not all AWC is used at exhaustion.

A new attitude

Article Abstract:

Teachers play a critical role in perpetrating sex equity in education. Sex role stereotyping is a barrier to effective learning in classrooms and prevents female students from achieving their fullest potentials. Being thus, teachers and school administrators alike have the responsibility to uphold sex equity through the institution of various educational programs which address such issues. Some examples of such programs being implemented in various schools in the US are presented to serve as guides to institutions of learning.

Over the top

Article Abstract:

Israel's bombardment of Southern Lebanon in response to increased terrorism by Hizbullah operating out of Lebanon was not justified. Israel hopes that by threatening the Lebanese government, it will crack down on the Hizbullah. This is not worth the threat to the peace process and the loss of life and homes.
