Article Abstract:

An analysis of the extent to which the public's purported mistrust of science actually exists, and the extent to which this mistrust should be pandered to. It is argued that, in fact, the public's mistrust of science is exaggerated, but that where there is some element of mistrust on the part of the populous, they should not be pandered to. Rather, important decisions should be left to people who know what they are talking about and the issues involved.

Still can't find the words to bridge the culture gap

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the work of C.P Snow and his contention that there is an intellectual divide between those who are scientists and are involved in the sciences, and those who are not. It is argued that, while snow initially made this argument in 1959, it is still valid today and not enough is being done to communicate the general principals of science to the masses.
