Genetics' Mr Fix-it

Article Abstract:

The Council for Responsible Genetics is totally opposed to Anderson's wish to use gene therapy to treat ADA deficiency disease and alpha-thalassaemia in the womb, but he argues that germ-line transfer must be carried out when it can be done effectively, safely and wisely.
