Article Abstract:

An analysis of the success of East European Jewish immigrants in the United States and United Kingdom. It is noted that the level of economic success achieved by these immigrants is unparalleled amongst any other immigrant group but, it is also noted that the circumstances that led to this success were unusual and that it would, therefore, be difficult to use the model of Eastern European Jewish immigrants as a way of improving the social conditions for other ethnic minority groups today.
