MGM-United Artists Entertainment: Lease and Video Licensing Program

MGM-United Artists have initiated a new leasing program which will enable teachers and librarians to lease 16mm film or video tapes for an extended time period. 3000 classic 16mm films are being offered to qualified institutions at a special discount. The Video Licensing Program also offers special discounts and programming packages to members. Self-Contained Video System

Article Abstract:

Eikivision is a video system that is designed for a small group or individual use. This system uses half-inch tape in a VHS format, with a nine-inch color monitor, and is front loading. It can fit into a study carrel, and is quiet when used with earphones. This easily transportable unit contains a digital clock, and can be programmed to start and stop, and repeat programs. A video camera can be attached to the system which costs $1,545.
