...believe parents are morally obliged to genetically modify their children

Article Abstract:

As the ability to control the genetic makeup of our offspring becomes more advanced, parents are morally obliged to make these changes in order to benefit their children. It is argued that throughout human evolution we have chosen our mates for their positive qualities and the use of genetic engineering to remove possible tendencies towards illness or to enhance other physical attributes is only an extension of this.

How will history judge cloning?

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the ethics of human cloning. One of the arguments against cloning is that it is another step in the commoditisation of humans, while one of the arguments for cloning is that no greater affront to human dignity is caused by the creation of a clone than is caused by the creation of a black person or a woman.
