First Post-CES Conference Scheduled for June in New York

The CES Publishing Corporation is promoting a Post-CES conference on June 26, 1984. It is to be the first of a series of conferences, seminars and workshops which will provide an indepth view of profit opportunities in consumer electronics. Playboy will be co-sponsoring the first conference. Registration for Outlook '84 is $195.

Random House Picks Peanuts

Article Abstract:

Random House has entered the educational software market. The company has introduced a line of educational games, six of which are based on Charles Schultz's Peanuts comic strip characters. All ten titles will cost $39.95 and be available for the Apple II. They will be distributed through nineteen manufacturers rep firms.

Wayman to New EIA Post, Friel Picks up CEG Reins

Jack Wayman has been promoted to the position of Senior VP of the entire Electronic Industries Association. Tom Friel is taking over Wayman's position as VP of EIA's Consumer Electronics Group. A photograph of Friel is included.
