Gas tolling: The future of commodity trading

Article Abstract:

United Kingdom's electric power industry has pioneered the use of advanced commodity-trading systems such as gas tolling. Gas tolling entails a gas firm to pay a fee to another firm's powerplant to transform its gas into electricity. Getting two routes to enter the market is one advantage of gas tolling.
