Improving customer service via two-way communication

Article Abstract:

Swedish electric utility Sydkraft contracted with IBM for the development of a two-way customer communication system in 1994. IBM offered the Integrated Distributed Automation and Management system, which uses Sydkraft's low-voltage power lines to transmit messages.
