Leader waveform monitors serve digital TV studios

Article Abstract:

Leader Electronics will display HDTV waveform monitors for 720-line progressive and 1,080-line interlaced scanning formats at the NAB '99 annual trade show. The company had previously introduced in late 1998 the LV5152 multiple-format waveform monitor; the LV5152D high-definition digital waveform monitor; and the LT1606 video encoder. For instance, the LV5152 is a multiple-format analog monitor that can observe the waveforms of nine image formats. It can perform waveform vector, picture monitoring and cursor measurement.

CSTCR ceramic oscillators

Murata Manufacturing Company Ltd has introduced the CSTCR-G15 and the CSTCR-G15A series of ceramic oscillators with an initial frequency precision of +/- 0.1. Both models have a frequency response range from 4 to 7.99 MHz. The CSTCR-G15 has a total frequency precision of +/- O.25% while the CSTCR-G15A has +/- 0.40%. The CSTCR models are 58% smaller while the CSTCV models are 40% smaller than their predecessors.
