SC-PM65MD, SC-PM75MD minicomponent set stereos

Article Abstract:

Matsushita Electric Industrial Company Ltd has introduced the SC-PM65MD and the SC-PM75MD minicomponent set stereos featuring a simle front face and moving panel controls. The SC-PM65MD only has switches for fundamental operations on its front panel while the SC-PM75MD has a five-disc changer for both MDs and CDs. Each has a speaker system made up of a 12-cm super woofers, 10-cm woofers and 6-cm tweeters. They also use high-density encoding system, high sound quality compression and 24-bit adaptive transform acoustic coding.

MX-S77WMD minicomponent systems

Article Abstract:

Victor Company of Japan has unveiled the MX-S77WMD minicomponent system that has a double-MiniDisc deck and a three-CD changer. The MX-S77WMD supports MD long play functions for 2x recording in LP2 mode and 4X recording in LP4 mode. It also comes with a title-search function and a double-speed disc-end-fade recording function. Its speaker system has a 14.5-cm-bore woofer and a balanced dome tweeter for a maximum output of 60W. The MX-S77WMD has a retail price of 80,000 yen, or $748.

XR-M120 minicomponent stereo systems

Article Abstract:

Aiwa Company Ltd has introduced the XR-M120 minicomponent stereo system. The product features a mint-green ttranslucen front panel. It employs Virtual Stereo Q Sound, combines 20W amplifier circuitry with a pair of wooden speaker enclosures and the T-Bas sound heavy-bass reporduction circuitry. The combination ensures excellent audio quality. The product adopts a CD digital output terminal and a three-way timer for enhanced ease of operation. It sells for 22,500 yen.
